At IHIF Asia 2026 (International Hospitality Investment Forum) on 18 September 2026, Capstone Asset CEO Titiwat Kuvijitsuwan joined the panel “Standalone vs mixed-use: Where does the brand truly drive value?”, a question many developers in the region now face.
Three takeaways from the panel

- Brands amplify strong fundamentals: a clear reading of the market and thoughtful development have to come first.
- The brand must shape the experience, not just the name: its value lies in what owners and guests experience every day.
- The brand must fit the market and the customer: choosing the right brand matters as much as having one. It must suit the location, the market and the buyers the project serves, which is the thinking behind Capstone Asset’s “one project, one brand” philosophy.
Lessons from PEYLAA Phuket

These views draw on Capstone Asset’s direct experience developing PEYLAA Phuket, Autograph Collection Residences in Bangtao, and hospitality projects with global brands such as Kimpton.
Fellow panellists included Richard Stevens, Darlena Zhai and Omar Romero. Thank you to IHIF Asia and everyone who joined the discussion.
